The Cresco Capital Group is managed by its co-owners Alexander Bürk and Daniel Schuldig who, combined, have more than 34 years of investment and real estate development experience. 

Alexander Bürk, Managing Director


Alexander Bürk, founder of Cresco Capital, holds a degree from the European Business School London and began his career in investment banking at WestAM in London in 1999. In 2003, Alex embarked on his career as a real estate entrepreneur and over the last 4 years has been involved in transactions and developments worth over 1 billion across a wide variety of real estate assets classes generating attractive risk-adjusted returns. His main expertise is in complex investment transactions and the development of new concepts particularly for historic buildings with planning risk that have lost their purpose and require a change of use often creating landmark assets as a result.

Daniel Schuldig, Managing Director


Daniel Schuldig holds a degree from the London School of Economics and began his career as a management consultant with Bain & Company. In 2006, Daniel moved to the large-cap private equity investor Terra Firma Capital, where he invested in large asset based companies. In 2009, Daniel moved to the mid-market private equity firm GI Partners, where he ran their German investment activities with a focus on direct real estate investments and real estate company build-ups. He was involved in transactions worth EUR 4,5 billion. Daniel joined Cresco Capital as a partner in 2013.
